Christopher P. Lacson


Chris brings 30 years of experience as an Industrial Designer with expertise in corporate identity and branding, new product, concept, and strategic design. His diverse portfolio include innovative patented designs for transportation, disabled children’s mobility, and furniture.


Chris is the CEO / Design Director of Philippine startup MEEP Inc. (Modular Energy Efficient Portage). He launched The Green Falcon, an electric bamboo-bodied motorcycle that went viral in 2018. It serves as a preview for The Meepney (Modern Jeepney) or Bamboo Jeepney. Prior to this, Chris designed the Michel Gitano GT 111 and the Etro Agila E-motorcycle.

He was CEO and Design Director for Habitat, the pioneer Philippine lifestyle store.

Chris designed and co-patented The Bac Mobile, a mobile stander for disabled children for Luconex Inc. He was Art Director and Production Designer for video game producers Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego) and CyberDreams in LA.

He was Director of the Product and Industrial Design Department at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and taught at the San Francisco State University. Recently, he taught Transportation Design at the College of St. Benilde in Manila.

His awards include 6 patents in the US and Philippines, and Best Product Design from the Department of Trade Industry.

Chris is an Honor Graduate from the Art Center Design College in Pasadena, California.
